This is for exterior of the house?
How much would 1 piece of plywood be 24" X 24" x 3/4" be?
Pre bullet "Can be primed then painted/sealed then stained" - but its already primed so how do you stain it and what's the point of priming it again, are you saying the primer on it is no good?

No. Mdf is not a good choice for wet environments because it absorbs water readily. Solid PVC trim would be the best solution.
