It has been used to shovel wet snow once. It does not have a metal edge and is not expected to be able to handle ice. The lack of a metal edge makes it good for clearing wood decks. It is small enough to fit inside a small SUV. It fully meets my expectations for what it is - a light weight plastic snow shovel at a fair price.
