Works well on ice, too!I've been waiting to use this snow brush to clear snow off my car, but so far that's proven impossible as we've hardly got any snow here this winter. I got brutally cold here overnight and a small amount of snow fell that turned to ice, so I figured I'd try this snow brush on ice.
This snow brush is different in that it doesn't have your typical brush bristles, instead it has these "rubbery" flaps that separate. I guess the material these flaps are made of ensures that the surface of your car won't get scratched; therefore it's described as scratch-free.
There are two big yellow flaps on the inside and two slightly smaller black flaps on the outside (see my pictures), and this brush is apparently especially helpful for clearing snow from mirrors and wiper wells.
There was ice in my wiper well as well as on the bottom edge of my car and it loosened and "brushed" both those off without a problem. The funny and nice thing is that this snow brush also has a typical ice scraper attached on the other end, something that is not indicated in the product description.
The rest of this snow brush appears to made of sturdy plastic and lightweight aluminum and it has a rubber handgrip that can slide to your comfort. Oddly, the plastic brush head has two square-ish holes and it seems these are meant for loosening the flaps to replace them with new ones should that become necessary, but there are no instructions as to how to accomplish that.
All in all, I think this will be a good snow brush/ice scraper for years to come.
