About This Product
Proper installation of a new fireplace insert requires the existing masonry chimney be lined with a properly sized flue liner so that your new stove will perform at its best. This chimney liner kit has been designed to be used with heating appliances vented through a masonry chimney that burn home heating oil, natural or LP gas and solid fuels (pellet, wood and coal). This kit includes a 25 foot liner section, rain cap, top plate and an appliance adapter. Additional kits may be joined together for taller chimneys.

Will you still need a damper after installing this kit?
That would depend on the damper requirements for the stove you're installing along with this kit. A lot of newer stoves do not require a damper in the flue!
How do you clean between seasons? Can you run a chimney brush up and down without damaging it?
Yes, this liner kit can be swept in between seasons.
Yes you can brush it but remember this is stainless steel and requires the proper type brush so it doesn't scratch it. They are very common to find. Also if the flue takes a hard bend brushing could be difficult.
is this a double walled liner?
Hi Denny! This flex liner kit is not considered a double wall insulated pipe. It is designed to be used to line an existing brick, stone, etc. chimney.
