What do you use for touch up paint?
Robert Thank you for your inquiry. Touch up paints to be used on Radar Ceiling panels are available from your local “Big Box” store. With the advancements in color matching technology available at paint retailers, as well as changes to paint color formulations, USG recommends a sample of the ceiling panel that is to be matched be taken to the paint retailer for best results.

Andres The information printed on the back of the ceiling panel is production information. It does not indicate the exact tile number. This is Radar Basic 2310 which is a 2' x 4' square edge tile.
Are these tiles washable and fire retardant
karen- The Radar Basic Panels can be cleaned easily with a soft brush or vacuum. The Radar Basic Firecode® products are approved for use in fire resistance rated UL designs, where the designs allow for the UL Type Designation FR-83. The Radar Basic panels are Class A per ASTM E84, with regards to surface burning characteristics.

What is the minimum clearance required between grid and existing ceiling?
Thank you for your inquiry. You will need a minimum of 4 inches between the top of the grid and the existing ceiling. Pull each hanger wire through a round hole below the bulb of the main tee and bend up, twisting the end 3-1/2 turns (within a 2 in. span). Hope this helps
I have an existing grid with some bad tiles, so I want to take those down and replace with new ones. Any tips on installing them? It seems like everytime I try to do one, a corner gets dinged up. thank you
Kelly- Tilt the panels on an angle and carefully lift them all way up into the plenum, then gently lay them directly down on the grid.
