With the advancements in color matching technology available at paint retailers, as well as changes to paint color formulations, USG recommends a sample of the ceiling panel that is to be matched be taken to the paint retailer for best results.

The Radar Basic Firecode® products are approved for use in fire resistance rated UL designs, where the designs allow for the UL Type Designation FR-83. The Radar Basic panels are Class A per ASTM E84, with regards to surface burning characteristics.

Thank you for your inquiry. You will need a minimum of 4 inches between the top of the grid and the existing ceiling. Pull each hanger wire through a round hole below the bulb of the main tee and bend up, twisting the end 3-1/2 turns (within a 2 in. span). Hope this helps
