Product Details

USG Fiberock Brand Underlayment is a water-resistant underlayment that delivers support for hardwood, ceramic tile, carpeting and more. It provides a smooth, flat surface that resists swelling and warping often seen with wood-based underlayments, and contains none of the resins, adhesives, or solvents that can stain floor covering materials. It also offers greater resistance to indentation than other underlayment products and can be used throughout a home - in both wet and dry areas - regardless of the flooring material chosen.

          This product is amazing, easy to cut and easy to install. I will never use Luan again as underpayment as a base for flooring. The boards are primaries for fastener locations to the subfloor. And when it’s installed the floor is solid. Great product.

            A year later in florida..
            So others said its not good for outdoors or partially wet areas, well guess what, I had this around my lanai room on the bottom part of my screen frame since 4/2014 and I have sprinklers wetting it every second day, rain here in southwest florida and lots of sun and still looks the same way I bought it. No mold or stains, no chipping or cracking, my toddler keeps on hitting it with toys and its very durable, believe me.. So, if this fiberock can stay strong outside in this weather, then it surely can stay a lot stronger and longer inside.
