1.6 cu. ft. Over the Range Microwave in Black

I’ve had this microwave less than three years and it just died out of the blue.

Don't buy this range unless you plan to replace it within 3-4 years. I see that its no longer available for purchase . 1st issue was the handle cracked and detached just by opening it within 6 months with minimal use. I live alone and barely used it, so it was weird that it happened so effortlessly. Fast forward into my maybe 4th year of owning it. I was cooking on my stove and the exhaust fan automatically and then next thing I know is the time is off like it had been unplugged or something.

The microwave itself is great and works perfectly well, but the assembly process kind of sucked. The template for under the cabinet didn't actually line up with the holes for the top of the microwave, and even when I widened the holes in the cabinet, the threads for one of the holes in the top of the microwave were slanted, so it kept cross threading the screw until the threads actually snapped off. I replaced the unit with another one from home Depot, and the same set of threads were slanted on it, although this time slightly less slanted so it didn't cross thread so i was able to actually get it to work. Overall, I would still recommend as I'm sure I am the one that messed up the template part, but I definitely didn't mess up the fact that the threads were slanted.

I’ve had this microwave for about six months. The door handle is attached to the outside piece of the door only. The door cracked just from opening the door. I wish I had read the one star reviews before buying. A complete waste of money.

Really easy to use, and with a very affordable price!

It fit right in the spot that we had for our old Majic Chef. It seems more spotty in it's heating areas than the old one. The clear plastic diagram for the front panel started to create small bubbles, probably from moisture, within 2 wks of purchase. I have to push the bubbles out to the side and I don't know how long the plastic panel will last with me pushing the bubbles to the side edge. I bought the extended warranty. I'm hoping appy with it except for the panel bubbles. I've had it about 2 months.

I truly LOVE the No Name Black Range Microwave. I started out only researching name brand Range Microwave however the No Name brand Range work PERFECT and it was for a GREAT price !!! The install instructions was very user friendly. I am a very satisfied customer.

I was looking for an over-the-stove microwave in white with exhaust fan and Home Depot had this one in stock. My handy man installed the unit along with the ducting and new cabinetry and all seemed good until we noticed the noise--the fan has a high-pitched whine that occurs at both fan speeds as well as while microwaving. The noise is such that if you go to another room you won't hear the fan but can still hear the whine. I have another, smaller Magic Chef MW which is loud but doesn't whine. I removed the MW from the wall and took out the fan motor and ran it, the whine doesn't seem to be coming from the fan blades which turn freely but from the motor itself. Now my beautiful kitchen has got an empty space with drill holes and a new, custom cabinet with ducting hanging down. Not to mention I have to repack the big & heavy MW, return it to Home Depot and hopefully find another model having same dimensions and duct fitting that will work.

Purchased this microwave in 8/2018. After the first year we started noticing things. The food started to require double the time to heat up, the display cracked (which prompted me to use electrical tape) and then in November 2020 (a little over 2 years) it just died. I had an electrician come out and check it as I thought the outlet itself was the problem. This microwave cost too much to die after 2 years. We had it installed over our stove and all now we have to get it removed. This microwave has made me second guess even adding the next microwave above my stove in the event that the same thing will happen after 2 years. I’ve never had extended warranty on microwaves as they’ve lasted at least 5 years. Even the $40 I purchased in college. Very disappointed
