Wipes it away... but doesn't come with hardware or a pole.
This is a well built squeegee and 24" makes quick work of larger surfaces. The metal makes it a bit heavy, but I only use it to clear puddles from the porch. It does a good job for what I require. This squeegee performs best on smooth surfaces, so if you're working with uneven surfaces, consider one of the Aqua Dozer squeegees with double blades and flexible foam (I have one of those too... works great). In my opinion, the squeegee is an average value since it doesn't come with a pole (poles cost less than $10), but luckily I had a pole from a broken rake in the shed. Also, this does not come with hardware, so you'll need a self tapping screw to mount it to a pole. Overall, I good squeegee.

Other uses besides floor
I have a small chicken house for the baby chickens. It's temporary until they get big enough to go in with the grown chickens. Just enough to keep them out of the hot sun and the rain.
The thing is that when they get big enough to fly up to the top of the house, they deposit their waste up there. It becomes messy and unsanitary.
Shovels don't do a good job of cleaning it off, so I thought I'd try a squeegee. It works great. One direction breaks it loose, the other direction squeegees it off.
It doesn't have the screw on for the pole, but the pole with the button that pops into the hole on the squeegee.

I bought this to reseal my 2300 sq foot asphalt driveway and it worked perfectly. Just know that my Home Depot store stocks this in the Housewares department, NOT where the other sealer materials are. This larger squeegee made for short work.
