I would have given this fireplace screen 5 stars if it hadn't been delivered with a fist size dent on the front of the screen. It really is a beautiful screen and you can't beat the price too. It comes down to quality control! Why would they ship a dented product in the first place!

I purchased one screen because we have a wood bin and our puppy was chewing on the wood. Already had one screen and couldn't find a match. It looked nice having 2 screens but because they didn't match the look was not right. So I bought another to natch, It looks really nice now. They lightweight and easy to move around the area for starting fires and storing the wood. The design is very pretty and match the fireplace tools my brother had forged many years ago for me. I love these screens!

We love our attractive fireplace screen - great product for the money! Only issue was that the screen arrived partially assembled. Think it was supposed to be assembled as only two of the screws and nuts were off, and they were loose in the box the screen arrived in...almost got thrown out with the box before I realized one of the panels was not attached. One screw was sticking in a corner of the box, half in, half out. Guess we were lucky it wasn't lost. However, it was easy to re-attach the panel and it is a beautiful screen. Our firebox is very large and we expected to have to pay a lot more for an adequate screen...very pleased at the price on this one. It is also exactly the right weight - heavy enough to remain in place and not get moved by our two active dogs, yet light enough to easily move to turn on fire.

It had potential its a very beautiful screen, very ornate. I had a hard time a finding a screen that was large enough to cover our fireplace, so this one is perfect. However there are some imperfections. Right out of the box I noticed three places where the wire mesh was slightly damaged, some of the wire holes are stretched/pulled apart. From the couch you can’t notice but up close it’s very noticeable. Also there was an ornate piece missing. Looking at the picture/front section-Panel; my screen is missing one of the left curvy metal rods that connect the leaf looking things. I would say it’s hardly noticeable, accept I did notice. I did keep it because I’m lazy and didn’t want to go through the trouble of exchanging it. Being an online order and the fact that it shipped from up north I would have to wait two weeks to get it and it’s the holiday season, No thank you! :)

3x flawed
I ordered 3 of these, one at a time, and each one had a very visible snag in the screen. I even called the customer service line, which they were very nice to me, and set up a pre-shipment inspection and it STILL came in flawed in 3 places!. It was definitely not the packaging, The packaging was in perfect condition all 3 times. Somewhere along the line, it got snagged. Too bad. Otherwise, it was beautiful and good quality.

Wonderful product!
The picture on the Home Depot site does not do this product justice! I'm so happy we read the reviews and went ahead and ordered this screen. It is absolutely beautiful! I attached a picture that I hope shows how beautiful this screen is! It is heavy, sturdy and safe to use. Some pluses are the bronze finish, the doors that open in front that make it easy to take care of the fire and the same time stays stable while they are open. The quality is worth every penny of the price. We recommend this product with NO reservations. You will not be disappointed with your purchase. Haha, no, I don't work for Home Depot, I'm just a very satisfied customer. It had very little assembly and it was easy. Delivery came sooner than promised too!
