Fits perfectly!
We decided we wanted a flush screen in lieu of the traditional hinged one. We decided to give this one a try! It looks like we had one made for our fireplace.
Some of the screw holes did not align, but my husband was able to fix that.

Looks great!
Looks great! It took me forever to find a screen with doors to fit my wood burning fireplace. This screen looks great, is good quality and makes tending to the fire so much easier. I did not use the back feet as I wanted it to fit flush as possible with the river rock. It stands up on it's own fine.

Mediocre quality
I previously bought another screen that was cheaper and decided to return it because the quality was poor (you get what you paid for). I decided to shell out a bit more and buy something nicer and so I went with this and overall I like it, it fits in front of my fireplace perfect and I like that it's sleek and doesn't stick out very much (I just wanted something to cover the fireplace, not something to be decorative or to draw attention). However, knocking off 2 stars because the corners all seem a bit rubbed down. It doesn't look very polished and a bit poorly made. One corner even has a crack in it. I attached a photo. In the photo you can see the crack and also how the corner looks really rubbed down - this is how it looks on the other corners. It's almost as if this screen has been banged up quite a bit and someone just re-welded the corners? Two of the screws were also popped out when I first took it out of the box. I just screwed them back in but all in all, for the price, I would expect something better. I'm deciding whether or not I want to go through the hassle of an exchange or just keep it...

Mesh Poorly Fabricated
I purchased this screen to replace another because I liked the fact it was directly up against the brick face. The problem that I have is that the wire mesh is poorly made. The mesh screen spacing was unequal and at least 6 or 7 locations the pattern had uneven spaces. Several locations the mesh stopped and was not even continuous. You would think that during any quality control this would easily have been seen.
The paperwork listed as UniFlame is a Trademark of Mr Bar-B-Que Products of NY. However the product is manufactured for them in China.
I have left voice messages and sent several emails and no response.

Sturdy, classic fireplace screen
This is a really handsome fire screen, and the arched top perfectly echoes our own fireplace. This is a solid (i.e., not hollow) frame, and took minutes to assemble. My only concern - and we'll see how this plays out - is that where the two doors meet, there is a 1/4-inch gap. Hoping sparks don't make their way through it. If I remember, I'll try to update this review after we've had several fires. But overall, I'm very pleased, and the price was significantly lower than an online retailer that specializes in this kind of thing. I really like the elegant simplicity of the design.
