AnswersThe answer depends on which direction the door opens. If the door opens to the outside the sweep is on the outside. If the door opens to the inside, as most front doors do, it is mounted on the inside.

I just loved how easy it was to put on there was only one hole we had to drill additional holes to make it a total of three . But I liked how it could be adjustable to the height u want from the floor . We wanted it to drag like a mud flap .i purchased two one for the front of the door and one for the inside to make sure were were covered. Highly recommended. Had a hard time buying the replacement for it will keep looking, I always buy the replacement rubber Incase that one gets damaged. I did find it in a garage type that could be cut to size,but it didn’t fit the track .

The product is very simple to install, it wold hav been nice if the screw holes were slotted a quarter inch or so vertically for up and down adjustments but it works well
