Q:Can I purchase the decorative parts in the frame itself. One of mine broke when I hooked my dog's leash to it!! It screws off from the back to they can be easily replaced.

I am extremely pleased with the decision I made purchasing this security door. Not only has it inhanced the appearance of my home but it's a show stopper in my neighborhood, lol. I have recieved many compliments from my neighbors.

Nice Decor
Purchased the door after looking at plenty of them and decided to go with then this. Firs this door is heavy as heck but me and my sister were able to get it jn the house. My handy man finalyl came and helped install i love th look and how it brings out the front of the house it only took about 3hrs to install and only needed 2 people 1 really but the second person would be helpful. So far no issues. Im hapoy with my purchase.

Solid and secure...easy to install. We love it. i don't understand why it only comes with one screen. Both glass pains are removable.I didn't feel the need for the seal kit and I was right, no need to buy the add on. A lock set (deadbolt and knob) are needed and cost additional.

I wish i was able to give this door a better review, i like the look and the glass inserts, but, the design of the lockset and frame is horrible, if you buy this door be prepared to modify the frame to be able to allow the deadbolt to be able to lock correctly had to use a dremel to shave off some of the framing to allow deadbolt and knobs to close, for the price this door should have a more sturdy frame and uses small phillips screws to secure frame to home, this is more like a stormdoor than a security door, this replaced a cheaper security door that actually was a security door with solid framing that had one way bolts to secure to home, if the frame was more like a security door frame and less like a storm door and the design of the lockset holes was better this would be a 4 or 5 star review, looks great on house but more of a Storm Door than Security Door.

This doors frame is recessed mount to be installed inside the trim of the entry door, and fits most standard sized 36x80 entryways. The door is made to fit a standard 2-3/8" backset hardware. These doors are meant for all climates.

I bought one for my bedroom that has a door leading outside. I have a German Sheppard and wanted the peace of mind that he could see outside without being able to go through the door. It is very well made & not to difficult to install. Its solid and looks great. I bought one for my mother after she seen it she wanted one. I installed hers when it came in. It was easier then mine except for the bug sweep cracked as I was sawing it to fit. I called the company that makes the doors to buy a replacement, the guy told me he would see if they had any & would call back if thy didn't. He took my info & within 2 weeks I received it with no charge. Costumer service is also great. I would recommend this company's doors to anyone.

Excellent Door BUT needed extra tools to install DOOR CLOSER
My handy neighbor and I worked about three hours to install this door. The original door was removed prior, so we knew this door would fit in the space. The video gave me confidence we could install it. Everything went according to instructions until we got to the DOOR CLOSER. Most comments above noted it doesn't fit at top of door, but instructions ALSO SAY USE MIDDLE OF DOOR. It fits just fine even with the glass inserts. HOWEVER the middle part of the door is reinforced metal and it was VERY difficult to drill holes into that metal. We broke one drill bit (a reinforced one!) and dulled a second one but got the thing on. YAY. UPDATE: After having the door installed for a month, the door closer (which others have disparaged online as being of low quality) completely stopped its pneumatic function and tried to slam shut immediately on our heels. VERY uncomfortable. I adjusted it using the screw on the end, and it didn't work very well even then. Kept getting worse. When i removed it today, the pneumatic sealed disc of metal inside was just rattling back and forth when i moved the closer. I bought the best one available at the home improvement store ($18 Wrights). It has the exact same size and installation hardware, so all i did was pop the pins on this door's closer, and replace the closer with the new one. IF YOU BUY THIS DOOR, DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME USING THE INCLUDED CLOSER: BUY A $20 REPLACEMENT AND INSTALL IMMEDIATELY. TOSS THE ORIGINAL. The door is WONDERFUL -- the closer, not so much.
