It is a decorative metal security screen door. No glass. It is very nice. We are very pleased with ours. We installed a metal door inside of the security screen door and the metal door has a glass window that slides up and down (and that window has a regulation/typical screen on it).

Everything you need to have it installed, but not the door knobs.

Miro, Thank you for your interest in our Cottage Rose Security Door. Unfortunately, there is no easy answer to your question. Our doors are all Powder Coated which inhibits rust however it is inherent that all steel will rust over time. The timing depends on the conditions present where the door is installed. Naturally wet, humid, and coastal environments are favorable for rust formation. Proper care over time, however, will slow the process. If rust spots are noticed, they should be removed with a wire brush and then a rust inhibiting paint used over the area. If rust is a major concern for you, we would suggest you view our line of Premium Aluminum Security Doors which are warrantied against rust.
