The Unique Home Designs Arcada Security Door adds extra security to any home. This door is made from steel with 1/2 in. square-tube pickets for added stability and intruder deterrence. The powder-coat finish complements the handsome design and coordinates well with a variety of exteriors. The expanded metal screen offers additional security and visibility.

1/2 in. square-tube, forged steel pickets in a classy arched design

A: Thank you for your interest in our Arcada. The Arcada and most other doors that are stocked in stores do not have the option for screen versus glass panels. Most of the security doors, including Arcada, have the screen welded in place and do not have an option for additional glass or for glass alone. Some of our Security Doors are special order and can come with glass and/or screen panels. We would strongly suggest you speak with a mill work associate at your local Home Depot store who can review the line up with you and tell you which doors have the option for screen and/or glass panels. A: Thank you for your interest in our Arcada Security Door. Unfortunately this door is not available in custom sizes. We suggest you speak with a millwork associate at your local Home Depot store who can show you which doors are available in the options you seek. I hope this is helpful.

This Security Door looks great ! My issue is with the instillation, specifically with the Security Bolts on the hinged side of the door. Poor design !

Rusted in less than 1 year

in less than 1 year, metal screen has already rusted. Installed in San Diego CA where there is no snow and we receive little rain. If it rusted so quickly in this year round mild and sunny climate, I would not recommend this product for any climate.

RUST RUST RUST

This is a terrible product stay away it is guaranteed to rust in a way I have never seen before in my life. I have installed 4 gates in 4 years and all 4 have somewhat disintegrated into rust dust you will be unsatisfied very quickly.

another big boxed store has a better one. This "screen" is very thin and rattles more. Another Big Box store L... has a version thats better. We usually use that one on all our rentals but a client wanted this one. May rust in a couple years

Rust not covered under warranty

Purchased April, 24 2021. Installed a week later. Screen is rusting already. Checked the warranty and rust in excluded from warranty.

Rust

Rusting terribly all over after less than 1 year. Now we will need to remove the security screws and replace the door from a higher quality manufacturer.
