- RESISTANT: Stands up against stains, shedding and fading with proper care
- CARE: When vacuuming, use without a beater bar or set the bar to the highest pile setting and use a low power setting. Spot clean stains immediately with a mild detergent, rinse thoroughly and blot dry. Rotate for even wear.
- COMPACT SHIPPING: Your rug will arrive factory rolled/folded and may have creases from tight packaging and compression during storage. These normally flatten within 3-7 days. You can also reduce or remove creasing by rolling the rug, pattern side up, and massaging the creases with your hands. The backing will loosen to help the rug lay flat. For the stubborn creases, flip the rug over and place a damp towel over the crease. Use the synthetic setting, and iron the damp towel; this should remove the crease.

Is this rug sprayed with flame retardant & does it have PFA's?
Hi! Our rugs do not have any additives added to the polypropylene and polyester threads used. Standard polypropylene is within compliance with fire codes as it melts so adding these chemicals are not necessary. Also, the material itself does not absorb water or other liquids, meaning stains do not sink in as long as you clean them up quickly. We do take home-health, budget friendliness and a green mind in high priority before releasing new collections and designs on our website.
Can this rug be cleaned w/ a carpet cleaner?
For the Portland Albany Blue Area Rug we recommend spot cleaning with Resolve or other spot treatment cleaners and vacuuming regularly. Do not use the vacuums with a beater bar as this will cause damage. The rug needs to be suction-only or take it outside and shake it out. You can use a carpet cleaner, commonly known as a shampooer, but he rug should be dried immediately and evenly.
Yes I do believe it can be. Its a beautiful rug but there's nothing special or different about this rug that u wouldn't be able to use a carpet cleaner on it.
