Product Overview

Lilies are one of the truly great garden plants, as they are beloved by gardeners everywhere. Their beauty, diversity, extended season of bloom, graceful stature and overall reliable disposition reflect the fruits of hundreds of years of selective breeding. In Chinese, the word Lily means forever in love. The lilium family is so large, varied, and complex that it is challenging to describe them in short. Lilies are deer and critter resistant. Plant just about anywhere - borders, beds, cutting gardens, perennial gardens, pots and containers. Best buy lily mixture. As this is a true lily mixture, no two packs are exactly the same. Purchase several packs to plant in mass sweeps and collect as many varieties as possible. The mixture is a bit like a box of chocolates, as you never know what you are going to get.

  • Plant in well-drained soil where they will receive 6 to 8 hours of sun a day, they are winter hardy and considered a strong perennial that can be left in the ground and will re-bloom year after year if the conditions are right, keep them mulched well
  • Lilies prefer cool soil, which argues for shade at their feet from low growing companions, when cutting the flowers for bouquets, remove no more than 1/3 of the stem so sufficient leaves remain to renew the bulb for the coming year

Received bulbs quickly. Two of the seven bulbs appeared dehydrated but the other 5 were firm. Planted the bulbs immediately. Started seeing sprouts at 3 weeks. So far have gotten more than 7 sprouts so some bulbs may have more than one sprout. Can't wait to see what the lilies look like.

First time gardener. Bought the bulbs by mistake instead of small plants. Planted the bulbs in March. They started flowering in April. Takes very little care. Just water and sunlight.

1 out of 7 flowered
First time growing lillies and it was a bit of a disappointment. Only 1 out of 7 bulbs actually flowered. But looking at the reviews, it seems like it was a totally dud batch. And all the bulbs were rubbish!!!! Home depot - think you need to replace these dud bulbs with a new batch

I bought 28 of these lilies in 4 packages of 7 each. These were Mother’s Day gifts for my daughters and me. We all planted the bulbs as directed on the instructions. A total of two (2) bulbs actually came up and only one (1) bloomed!!! This was a total waste of money! Totally ripped off with this purchase! How do I get my money back?

How long does it take for these bulbs to bloom?
I planted these Lily bulbs the day after I got them. But three weeks have passed and there are still no sprouts at all. I lived in Michigan, and I planted at around mid May in containers and placed them in full sun. it's very warm and sunny now, should expect some growth but haven't seen any.

only 1 bulb out of 6 sprouted.
Pack came with 6 bulbs. 1 was already showing shoots. Only that bulb sprouted. Others did not.
