Q:Are the slats on the back?.are they resting in a groove on the horizontal board top and bottom?
That?s what rotted out my last swing, water stayed in that groove where the slats were.

Nice BUT!
Received in good condition. It was easy to assemble. Looks nice on our patio. However after just two weeks the seat boards on the swing have peeling paint. Didn’t notice any damage when first assembled. The swing has neen hardly used. Have to see how bad this gets.

Chipping cracking paint after one week.
The swing started chipping and cracking, after one week. Terrible Quality…save yourself the trouble of putting this swing together. The pictures speak for itself. I am returning the swing after two weeks of being delivered.

Beautiful Swing
We just put the swing up a week ago. Very beautiful on our front porch. So far the swing is only for decoration, really don't know how sturdy the swing is yet.

Cracked
I need to return it. Only had a couple weeks and after 1-2 rains, it’s already cracking.

I followed the directions for hanging the swing and twice it fell. Consider finding better ways to hang the swing from the ceiling that is more secure than what is in the directions. I had to buy better equipment to hang it.

Great product! Though I do have to say that the assembly directions are incomplete. It tells you to put the swing together then install the chains. The chains have to be installed during the assembly process.

The chain was almost 1/4 inch too big for the holes provided. The holes had to be drilled larger. No washers (GG) provided, should have been 4. Should have 6 plugs, (CC) there were 3. Will not do that again!

Hardware did not include the four S hooks to attach the chain to the swing. Fortunately I already had the four S hooks left over from the old swing I was replacing with this one. Finish is less than perfect.
At the end of the top back and at the front hole on one arm the wood surface had splintered or chipped and they just applied the finish without attempting any smoothing. All in all, though, I like it.

Fairly easy set up. Like Ikea furniture. Not sure yet how it will hold up. So far the massive amounts of rain we have had are beading up on the finish. This is not like a pressure treated made in the USA product that will last for 20+years in our hot humid climate.
