Can this be used in a Sauna?
Our skylights can be installed in a sauna. However, we recommend choosing a venting option to better manage condensation build-up. You may want to consider one of our solar venting options. They do not require any electrical wiring and will come with a remote to operate.

Does the velux standard skylights limit the harsh sun light
We offer shades for our skylights to help with light control. If you order a skylight with a preinstalled solar shade, you will qualify for a 30% solar tax credit on the product and installation.
On model QPF 3046 2004, how far in are the nail holes from the outside edge of the flashing?
The actual pan or flashing extends 3 1/2" from the outside of the frame. The hole for the #8x 1 3/4" stainless steel screw is 1/2" inch inside. We appreciate your question. Runner, while there are not smaller sizes available in the VELUX model QPF, there are other products that can be made smaller.
