The latches that hold the lid closed didn't line up well and have since broken, literally only 1 day of use. When I use it again, I am going to come up with a different way to keep the lid closed. Would not buy again.

This spreader works well to lay down compost on your lawn. That said, it is hard to assemble and using it is VERY labor intensive. Be prepared to work hard to get the compost spread. But, it's still cheaper than hiring someone.

Garbage!
Just like previous reviewer. Its a cheap mess. All the parts are messed up. Holes not drilled all the way through, metal pieces fabricated millimeters off so the pieces dont fit together properly. Latches keep bending and popping off. The instructions are useless and often depict different style parts than are provided.

Terrible.
This came so messed up. The paint has dirt in it, it’s peeling out of the box. The end caps were bent. The bolts are too long, it’s still functions but they’re about 1/2 inch longer than they need to be. The handle itself is off center on the drum, so it’s at an angle because the metal is so twisted.
