        Worked perfect. Does have a safety clip on the hooks both upper and lower. Please be aware that u will need to go buy a battery for the remote. The remote does not come with a battery. Maybe its supposed to be Included but mine did not have the battery in the packaging

        Works but don’t lose the remote
        The winch itself works decent but make sure you don’t lose the remote because if you do there is no replacement! The winch also comes with a spot to plug a corded remote into it but they don’t sell the corded remote separately. I contacted Vevor personally and they told me the same thing, so it’s not really Homedepots fault but the manufacturers. Pretty much screwed because I can’t use my winch without a remote where it’s located!
