Quartz Countertop Sample in Capricorn

Let the buyer beware! I have to give the countertop 5 stars. It is beautiful. The Company that they contract with to provide the material and install it? Another story... The install team (the guys that came out to install the Counter top 3 times) were fantastic.  However, they sent out a damaged countertop.  Not the installer's fault.  How does that get put on the truck without being inspected.  There was even an inspection sticker on it, that had no signature.  So the Counter Top Factory sent a crew out here with damaged product, and they had to stop the install, and turn around and go back to the factory with it.  Then... and this is the real kicker...  without even communicating how they were going to remedy the damage, they send it out again with a crew.  I told the installers, you need to go back and tell the guy that made the decision to send that countertop, with a severely inferior repair "what you were thinking?".  And you could add "the customer wears glasses, but he's not blind".  They could have saved alot of gas, and crew time, by sending a picture of that repair and ask if it was acceptable.  It was not! And never even bothered to communicate how and when they were going to "fix it". So again, they took it back, and again I received no communication of the remedy.   I could not get anyone to even call me back.  So, I had to get Home Depot involved.  Not sure whether they made them do the right thing and cut another countertop, or they just wised up and did the right thing.  But I was without a kitchen for 2 weeks.  No water, no dishwasher, no sink.  An absolutely ridiculous way to do business on their (TCF's) part.  Installers were great, measure teams were great, schedulers were great, the rest of the process?  I would not say do not buy from Home Depot. I am sure many installs go fine. But if TCF sends out the wrong top, or a damaged top...good luck. I was fortunate that Home Depot is very responsive to their customers. I should have called them immediately, my mistake on that. I assumed I would just be getting a middleman involved. Fortunately, Home Depot takes the responsibility like "they" were doing the install. I have this countertop and love it. However I did not want a busy pattern or shiny glossy finish. You can see on the sample piece it is matte. I have not had any issues in the 2 years so far!

I would give this zero stars if it was an option. This countertop looks nothing like the image depicted online. I understand online color and in-person will vary. But, this does nothing to show the actual product. When it arrived, it looked like it was dusty and water splatted on it. The bigger issue is there is what I describe as a permanent haze that can't be removed. Do not buy this product!

If only I could give this 0 stars. Product looks great but terrible durability. The countertop has chipped multiple times and just recently was chipped because of a glass. Home Depot should no longer sell and support this product as it is a sub-par product and will cause consumers more headaches than enjoyment.

Love it!!! All the color I want in a countertop!! i just ordered to have my kitchen remodeled in this !! Can't wait

Not a true sample...more of a graphic representation. A 3x5 photo would have been just as good.

The Capricorn countertop is absolutely beautiful. The countertop well exceeded my expectations and I am more than happy with the results.
