Vigo customer service has conflicting info on weather or not they have a longer screw. Too short to meet with thicker sinks. I called Vigo 3/28/17 and he said no longer screw. I ordered from Home Depot with chat assistance for a composite sink, which is also thick, and they apparently do not have in their information on that it only fits thin stainless sinks. I ended up getting a cast iron enamel Kohler sink and it does not work. The strainer seems thin and a little light duty but the rest of the unit seems good quality thick plastic. I would recommend only for thin sinks and am giving one star due to Home Depot not having needed information. Most of it is plastic, not brass as stated.
