Amazing PVC Lamp Post
I purchased this for 80.00 with free shipping. It came in a few days and I was off to the races. Purchased an 8' x 4" x 4" pressure treated post and things just fell into place. The PVC post had easy to understand directions for assembly. I took it a step further and added an outlet to the post with a weather tight cover. When done, it looks like a much more expensive wooden post but I know this will last a lot longer. Couldn't be happier!

Lamp post was very easy to assemble over a pressure...
Lamp post was very easy to assemble over a pressure treated 8’x4”x4” post. It looks like an expensive painted wood post but this one will last much longer. When I installed it, I added an electrical outlet with weather proof cover. It will come in handy for Holiday lighting as well as electric yard equipment.

Don't hesitate to get this lamp post. I looked at a lot of reviews before I chose this one. This very heavy duty vinyl. Think vinyl fence post material. It will last a very long time. Instructions are very straight forward. Easy assembly, but allow at least 1 day for trim parts to dry before installation. I used some plastic clamps to hold things together as they dried. This post can go over and attach to anything that you have in the ground, old lamp post, landscape timber, 4x4, 3 inch pipe, etc., as long as it is STURDY in the ground. I replaced 60 year old wooden lamp post. I only had 12 inches of 3 inch pipe cemented in the ground sticking up. I took a 4x4 and cut the end to fit in the pipe, secured with stainless lag screws, perfect. I cut a 3/4 hole on the back of the lamp post and mounted a weatherproof outlet box. The old light fixture fit perfect on the top. And it looks fantastic !! Best looking lamp post in the neighborhood.

Product is very good, but the assembly instructions are clumsy....
Product is very good, but the assembly instructions are clumsy. You don't need to secure this lamp post assembly by drilling little holes and threading tacky looking little screws into the column. Set the column over the cemented 4X4 timber, then pour into the column's hollow interior a couple of gallons of ready mix concrete, and then level to vertical. No wimpy installation with fasteners necessary.
