Not carbide.
Carbide impregnated does NOT mean carbide tipped. Decent hammer but very disingenuous description.

Does *not* have a carbide tip! Total rip-off misleading advertising. Simply has tiny scattered grains of silicon carbide - embedded in ordinary tool steel tip.
