Hello, Yes these planters do rust naturally however there is a solution you can make with household materials that will speed up the process: Ingredients: 16oz hydrogen peroxide 1/2 tbsp of salt 2oz white vinegar Instructions: 1. Mix all ingredients together in a spray bottle 2. Shake vigorously 3. Place a protective mat on the floor 4. Spray the mixture until the product is fully soaked and let it dry. 5. Repeat 6 - 10 times 6. Enjoy your transformation
