Demi 16 in. Round White Plastic Planter

Actually this would make a great anywhere planter as long as you had a tray to catch any excess water. My wife loves her garden and her flowers and herbs. Some of the herbs she grows will not survive our winters so they are better suited to this really large planter where we can bring them in to overwinter. This is perfect for a nice rosemary bush. Stoneware or terra cotta pots that don't get brought in over the winter months just end up in pieces with all the freeze thaw cycles we have. So in that regard the heavy plastic is a really welcome choice in material. The planter itself is really solid and looks great too. The fluted sides are really attractive and will fit in almost anywhere. I liked it so much I picked up another one.

• Did I mention how large this planter is? This planter can easily accept a #5 nursery container (nominally 5 gallons) which is 11.75” diameter and 11.75” tall. The maximum practical capacity is about 4 gallons which would weigh in the range of 30 to 40 pounds with water, soil and gravel. Plan accordingly. I went with a smaller plant container and placed it on a block of Styrofoam. I put a saucer in the bottom and sealed the drain holes to prevent leakage. Plugs for the drain holes would have been appreciated. • The I also made a mid-century modern style holder that is reversable. Although the planter looks like a cylinder at first glance, the sides are slightly tapered. The top inside diameter is 13.75” and the bottom portion is 13.375”. The flutes provide a nice “texture” to the large planter. The planter weighs 4.6 pounds. • The finish is matte black but is also available in sand, white, and gray. The planter is reportedly made from UV resistant recycled materials and it is imported from…Canada!

Really nice outdoor planter. Seems to be made of a durable plastic and does not feel cheap at all. In fact, it has a decent weight to it. It includes two drainage holes. I am currently using it indoors and just have a saucer below it to catch runoff water. Classic, modern appearance that will likely compliment most decor. Highly recommend this planter!

This is a really nice outdoor planter. It feels durable, and while the bottom can scratch, the sides seem pretty scratch resistant. It has two two drain holes at the bottom - beware if you intend to use this indoors, it's really not for that purpose. And note that this is a pretty big pot. I found that it took an entire 32qt bag of potting soil to fill it. Last thing - it's made in Canada!

Really impressed with the quality on this one. Seems like some sort of plastic concrete composite. Really nice and heavy, doesn't feel cheap and flimsy like some of the typical plastic pots you see out in the world. Love the look, simple, classic and timeless. Has a drain hole at the bottom. Super nice black color, not a harsh black, but a nice warm matte black. Picking up another for the other side of the porch.

This is an impressive planter made from really substantial plastic. It is thick and appears to be very solid. At 16 inches in height and 15 inches in diameter, the planter offers capacity for small to medium sized plants. The modern fluted exterior is appealing and the base is thoughtfully designed with curved footings to hold the bottom of the planter off of the ground for drainage. Two drainage holes are provided, and there are separations in the footings to permit water to flow away from the planter. The planter is considered to be all-weather and fade resistant, and I expect to last a long time. It will make a nice, decorative addition to any location inside or outside the home.

Veradek Demi is like the other Veradek planters in that it withstands the hot summers and the icy freezes without fading or cracking. Ive owned 3 of their planters for a few years now and the structure of them has not changed! The demi is tall with a ribbed design and it is thick walled so it looks like concrete but its plastic which is not brittle so pushing/pulling this around wont change its shape either. It is heavy so in windy areas it will work out fine. I like that it is very deep with a wide base -perfect for a tree or plant that has deep roots. I put a plant in it where the root ball was as tall as the foliage and it looks great. These are the best quality planter pots I've ever owned.

Pretty good bargain, even better if you buy two. Has two large drain holes on the bottom and the bottom of the pot is also raised off the ground which should help you keep your plants alive. The finish is matte and very modern looking. It does not weight nearly as much as a typical ceramic planted but is still quite sturdy. The bottom of the pot has a lip that is approximately 12" in diameter so I am hoping I will be able to find a black roller base or stand so I can bring the plants indoors over the winter and catch excess water from the drain holes. If that is important to you I think they sell a similar model which already includes a stand. I may reach out to see if they sell the stand separate.

So, they describe the material as a heavy duty concrete/plastic composite. I must agree that it is heavy duty. Both my wife and myself were very impressed with how solid and heavy and well made this planter is. It is definitely not just a thick plastic planter, it is stout. The finish and design is very simplistic and it works. I highly recommend this to anyone wanting a quality, fluted design style planter.

Very nice, high quality planter. You get what you pay for, and this is a prime example. The perfect planter for any fiddle leaf fig, large houseplant, or even a small tree. My wife has a dwarf pomegranate, and it's destined for this to be its new home. Very sturdy, the only downside to this, is that it's heavy. That does make it able to support a taller plant, and not risk tipping over, which I much prefer. But obviously, once you've got it filled with your planting medium, you don't want to put a plant that has to be moved too much! Ascetically, very pleasing, would go with many decor styles. The fluted appearance is nice as well. There are also two, predrilled drainage holes.
