Q:How do you install the Veranda stair rail kits on 7" rise and 14" run steps? My calculations say that the top angle would be 63+ degrees and the brackets only support up to 45 degree max. Any insights would be appreciated.

Make sure you are using the Stair Angle Brackets
Veranda has 2 kits 1 for Traditional Stair Angle and 1 for Traditional Williamsburgh Angle for decks. Get Stair Angle. Get 2 kits if you have rails on both sides, 1 kit has 2 for upper rail each end, 2 for lower each end. These brackets add extra length.

When you buy this brand - everything must be of the same brand. 4x4 sleeves and caps by other manufacturer will not fit and vice versa. The finished results are beautiful.

I was a little shaken when it came in pieces yikes. My husband installed this product in a weekend and had never installed vinyl before. Ease of use and the end result looks like a million dollars! We love this product so much we will be installing it on our 14' x 24' back yard deck :)
