    Did not turn on, but is nice looking.
    While the packaging was nice and the light is aesthetically pleasing, the light has been in the sun for multiple days and still has not turned on. I do appreciate that it would fit a 4x4 post or a 6x6 post, as we have both on the property. Unfortunately because it never worked, I could not give it a more accurate review. We will be replacing the rechargeable batteries to see if this changes anything.

    Elegant solar post light
    Solar post caps with night light - these got really popular in our area. Many put them on 4x4 posts in front of their porch, on the corners of the fences, and anywhere else where a 4x4 post is available. It serves three functions at once, first and foremost it is a night light, not really bright, but is helpful to avoid what is in front of you in the darkness. Second, it looks beautiful at night. Third, it serves as a cap that prevents water from being absorbed by the post and slows down the aging of the wood. Don't expect this to compete with street lights, it is not for that. The kit includes an adapter for 6" posts and the needed screws.

    Good looking solar post cap
    This post cap is good looking by day and puts out a nice warm light at night. However, I ordered this without realizing that the post needs to stick up above the fence boards. My posts do not as the fence boards are taller than the posts. This means that the light cap cannot sit on top of the post as designed. So be aware of this for your fence posts. Anyhow, I ended up making this work by offsetting them using the 6"x6" adapter ( my posts are 4"x4"). This is simple to use as the sun charges it by day and it comes on at dusk. I don't know how long it lasts since I'm asleep when they're still on. I would guess it lasts 5-6 hours past dusk. It puts out a good bit of light for the size and give the fence a nice accent. I would just be aware of your fence design and if this will work with what you have.

    Nice clean design
    This light looks really nice in my backyard. It is not very bright so take the pictures with a grain of salt but it does give a beautiful light around my dock. The light will fir 4x4 and 6x6 posts (with the enclosed adapter). All hardware is included although you might want to go and buy black screws as they look cleaner with the back fixture. Installation is also really easy. The only drawback is that the light sensor is really sensitive so the light won’t turn on before it is fully dark outside. Lastly, give the light a full day or even two days charge before expecting much performance. The batteries are totally empty at first so it will need some time

    nice light that is not very bright
    This cap is of good quality and practicality. It is solar and fits 4 inch posts. 1) the cap is black, with plastic housing and solar panel on top 2) there are screw openings on sides but it fits well enough to stay on in a normal weather 3) the solar panel top slides off to open so batteries can be replaced with removing the base attached to a post 4) the light is not very bright, 11 lumens, it is more as location marker than a real illumination Overall, this is a nice solar light that looks good but is not particularly bright.

    Nice Low-profile design!
    I chose this black solar light because it will fit on both 4x4 and 6x6 posts (with the included adapter). It has 11 lumens and gives off a warm white glow. Once charged, the light will stay on for about 8 hours. The box contains the plastic adapter for a 6x6 along with 4 small screws to keep the light in place on your post. I'm using this on a post which is at the back corner of my house which is very dark at night, and I wanted a solar light that would be bright enough to see where I'm going until my mounted motion light kicks on in the back yard. This light and adapter are a very rigid plastic, so it seems quite sturdy and not at all flimsy. If you ever need to replace the included rechargeable batteries, you would just replace them with AA rechargeable batteries. I was pleasantly surprised that this light was much brighter than I expected. The manufacturer information on the box states that this light is more than 9x brighter than standard 1.2 lumen solar lights, but I wasn't sure of that until this light came on. I plan to get more for my stairway now that I see how bright these are!

    Easy Solar light
    Can't go wrong with solar lights. This Veranda Solar Adaptable Plastic 4 inch x 4 inch which fits a nominal posts is so easy to install. It has a durable UV protected plastic housing, with plastic clear lens. It's a warm white led 7 lumens and has a rechargeable 1.2V aa 900 Mac NI-Mhbattery. The mounting hardware is included. It will automatically go on at dusk and off at dawn. A full charge will last 8 hours. It's perfect for a deck or fence or anywhere else you could use it. This actually fits on my handrail on my porch steps. So I may install it there. And the price point is very affordable.

    Nice, low light for your yard
    This is a small solar light by Veranda to “cap” a corner or post. It’s 3.5 x 3.5 but with the added adapter base it is 6x6 inches. Made of plastic, matte black. The first day it powered up with about 6 hours of sun and I was able to use it that night. It provides a small amount of light but overall looks good. My wish is for a different color other than black as black seems to show the water marks and dirt easier.

    Veranda Solar 11-lumen post cap looks great and works well!
    This Veranda 11-lumen, 3-LED black plastic solar post cap is made well and includes an adapter attachment so it can fit either a post measuring 3.5" or a post measuring 5.5". It comes on automatically at dusk and runs for about 8 hours. It is not a harsh bright light, but has a soft glow that looks nice in the dark. An instruction sheet is included, along with 4 screws. By screwing the top section off, the batteries are accessible for future replacement (usually every 1.5-2 years). The (2) 900 mAh NIMH AA 1.2V batteries are included. The solar panel on the top measures 2.5" square and the top is 5.75" square. It has a 2-year warranty against defects.

    Disappointed
    Review of Veranda Solar Adaptable Post Light - My experience started off quite well. It comes with an adapter so it fits atop both four inch and six inch posts. After just a few hours in the sunlight, it came on at dusk with a good, bright light. We had a rain shower later on that evening. The next night I noticed it wasn't coming on. I took the batteries out and reinstalled them in case it was just a connection issue. That wasn't it. So, it worked one night and then died. Made in China.
