Walked right over

I purchased this to get rid of a rodent(s) in my detached garage. I put a sunflower seed size of peanut butter in the middle of the glue and set it where recommended. The following day I noticed the glue trap was missing. I found it under my shelving unit with footprints, a trace of peanut butter left, and a peirce of plastic. I have 11 more to go but I feel this rodent is too big for this trap.

All that I caught was the fur of the rat....

All that I caught was the fur of the rat. The rat was able to pull itself off of the "Glue Board". It is a rather large rat, so it is stronger than the Glue Boards and it was able to pull itself off after it got stuck on it's furry side. That was the only evidence of a rat these Glue Boards showed. This product is apparently NOT effective at trapping large rats.

I put these in my shed so that mice spiders and whatever other critter that was leaving its droppings all over the place. I'll be sure to keep purchasing these. BTW I would prefer the snake and lizard not getting trapped.

Not satisfied with product

Rat was glued on it and was able to get out of it in few minutes. If home depot allows video upload I can add video for review.

It does what it is supposed to do. The small ones catch the mice, while the large ones catch the large rats.

I have used this type of product before where we were trying to control an infestation of mice. I thought these might be a good choice fir a suspected rat issue in the barn. We set he traps out and had nothing caught in the first trap but the second trap had disappeared. A friend had mentioned to me later that he had a similar problem with using this style trap for rats. It seems that on occasion, rats can not fully enter the trap and only get stuck on a front paw or two and can escape with the trap. It seems there should be a hole or a slot for tying a string or wire to secure the trap to a fixed object.

VICTOR RAT GLUE TRAP. Received these Victor glue traps in a timely manner from when I ordered these. I found these glue trap to be extremely effective in catching mice. I placed these glue traps in an area where there had been traces of mouse droppings and the second night I got results. A small mouse had walked onto the glue trap and was un able to excape . The comment that I would add is the glue trap could be cut in half and still be effective.

VICTOR RAT GLUE TRAP (12 pack).... First let me say that no rodents were hurt in the writing of this review! I haven't caught any rats yet, but I think any contact with any part of rats body will be history! The trap is extremely sticky., extremely easy to use.and dispose of. I got these traps to put in the barn, so far nothing ( I guess thats good news ) I will also use by the chicken coop! I will update with results!

Just what a girl wants! Seriously though, I live out in the county with lots of woods and wildlife. I started my car one day and it would barely run. Turns out rats had built a nest in the engine and chewed up a bunch of wires. I was very embarrassed but they assured me it was very common. Being a city girl recently moved to the county I had no idea. Anyway, these traps worked like magic and in the shed also. Just take the shovel, scoop up the trap and put in the trash. This is a good product.
