Product Overview

Victor Poison Moleworms are specially formulated to be palatable to moles. Intended for use in underground tunnels and runways, the Moleworms look and feel virtually identical to real earthworms, a main food source for moles. When eaten, the poison in the bait works quickly to eliminate the mole. To use, locate tunnels, drop the moleworm in, and reseal with dirt. Repeat this process every 5 ft. to 10 ft. Each package of Victor Poison Moleworms includes 5 active tunnel locator flags, 10 worms and 1 protective glove for safe handling of the bait. Do not place in areas accessible to children and pets.

This product works well, and is easy to use. It comes with gloves for safety from the poison and flags to identify the location of the trails where you applied the poison so you can check back and see if the work is gone. There are 10 worms in two packs for two applications. I would recommend this product if you have a problem with moles. Please note: you may need more than one application if you have a lot of mole trails in you yard.

I’m assuming the poison worms work. I can believe they kill moles. But I can’t prove it. I know of 4 ways to clean up a mole problem. 1. Use a pitch fork and poke 100s of holes in the tunnels. 2. Use a mole trap that launches 8 spikes into the ground if the tunnel roof is lifted by a passing mole. 3. Spray Castor Oil and water to discourage the moles by changing the taste of their food source. 4. Open the tunnel roof just enough to push in a poison worm and hope the mole passes that point again. All 4 efforts work. I’m convinced of that. Only number 2 allows me to dig up a dead mole right under the trap. This year I’m going all out. I’m going nuclear over my mole problem. This year I’ll use all 4 methods to save my yard. Are the poison worms worth the cost? I’ll say yes because I’m sure it’s been tested. I live next to a woods that can supply moles all summer long. See the attached back yard photo.

I just installed 5 worms into 5 mole runs. Check out the pictures attached. I used a 1” spade bit on my portable drill and it was a perfect use of the bit. It was surprising how deep I had to drill to get to the mole run, somewhere between 6-8”. The plan is to revisit these sites in 5 days as per the instructions and reapply if I need to. I will update this in 5 days

I was reluctant to try the Victor Poison Moleworms because I have tried various poisons, traps, and even ultrasonic pest repellants and was never successful at eliminating the moles in my yard. But, the first thing that I noticed was that the directions for the poison moleworms instruct you to first verify that the tunnel is active. I had either never noticed these instructions for the other products that I tried or I simply failed to follow the instructions carefully. Verifying an active tunnel seemed to make all of the difference. Thus far the poison molewarms seem to have taken care of my mole issue. The package includes ten worms/bait, five tunnel locator flags and two protective gloves for safe handling of the worms/bait. The worms/bait are packaged in two packs with five (5) worms/bait per sealed pack so that they stay nice and fresh. The flags are to be used to help validate active tunnels and to mark where the worms/bait have been applied. Thus far I have been impressed with this product because it seems to be effective. This product should NOT be used in areas accessible to children and pets.

Every year I have a problem with moles invading my yard. This creates walking hazards as sometimes you sink into the ground and twist an ankle. Using the Victor Moleworms was easy and seems to be effective so far. A tunnel appeared in the yard and following the direction I made a hole in it to see if it would fill back in to see if moles were still using the tunnel. Yes they were. I put the worms into the tunnel. It has been five days and the tunnel is not getting any longer nor do I see any new tunnels forming. I've tried using lawn care items to get rid of grubs to keep moles out but that never worked. So far this seems to be working. Very easy to use. Since the moleworms go into the ground it seems safe if you have kids or pets.

Now here is a dream product, I have fought those nasty moles for years and have tried many products on the market that have had no effect at all. This one works and is simple to use, just make a 1" hole and drop the worm in, flag it, and check back to see the little vermin has taken the bait, and now is going to die. If you have had these moles ruin your yard I would highly recommend this product because it works! The package even contains gloves to handle the bait.

Best mole control I've found.
This method definitely reduces the mole activity. I have a pretty big problem with moles. There are large roots and the tunnels are too close to concrete and foundations to use traps. This mole poison is easy to use and after placement, there is no new mole activity. As always, more will move in a few weeks later but I am definitely keeping them under control.

Are you kidding? Moles either ignore or push these things out of their burrows. After a couple of days the moleworms rot into nothing but slime. I just wasted a hundred dollars hoping for the best.
