Looks Great!
I put in a french drain between a stone wall and paver walkway and wanted to give runoff water direct, unimpeded access to the drain. I filled around the drain with bluestone and then cover that with these Mexican beach landscape rocks. Looks great.

Rock on
I needed drainage rock that was a bit larger for my project given the amount of water expected. These rocks were a good size and color.

Not what I was expecting
Expecting rocks to look like picture - dark gray/black, flat, round, smooth rocks. Instead I received light gray, chunky river rock. Wanted dark rock to contrast the other large river rocks i used in my water feature. Some bags were open and not sealed closed.

Get them all at once - size is inconsistent and coverage is minimal.
I purchased about 15 bags a few months ago. I just got to that phase of the project today. The rocks were large (3”-5”). I underestimated due to the poor coverage so went back for 12 more bags today.
The bags I got today were mulch smaller (1” - 2”). I’m disappointed as now the one I got do not match the original batch.
Moreover, the smaller rocks have much less coverage.
I suppose I will have to pull them all out and mix them. I would have been fine with either size but not one small and one large.
Considering the price, I would have appreciated consistency.
