Bottom Falls Out
This product is terribly designed and will not last. The bottom board that holds the slats in place is connected with metal staples that fail after a few months under the weight of the soil and plants.

It fell apart. With my garden already in it.
I built the whole thing which took some time , half a day at least and put my plants in and my dirt and a few moment later the bed had collapsed. and I had a pile of dirt and plants in my patio.

Broke in a month, do not buy
The bottom boards that hold the soil are held up simply by a small piece of wood that is stapled in and this failed on two of three that we bought. Had to remove plants and soil, disassemble, and return to store, which was a large effort, pictures were not enough. Store did refund for all three, but only after some haggling.

Works well in my garden
I got 2 of these so I would not have to bend over so much when tending my herb garden. I stained them to match my cedar deck. The wood is very dry and really sucked up the stain. One of the side boards showed signs of insect damage. ( see photo ) Some of the wood was very rough. If you want to stain them I think it is better to stain the wood before assembly.
I was able to use the hollow cells in the vinyl legs to run quarter inch drip irrigation tubes out of sight. I am happy with the result.

Easy to Assemble(mostly) and Good Price
This is the first time I have ever purchased a raised garden bed, and I looked around for awhile at different sizes, styles, and prices. This one seemed to me like the best value for cedar and easy assembly. I was able to put it together by myself; a helping hand would make the process go faster though. The instructions are easy to follow. A rubber mallet would help get the boards to slide into place. Word of caution: I have a few horizontal boards that don't quite fit, but I can adjust them.

Know what youre getting into
This product is very nice thought it would be easier to put together though it took 2 hours and 2 people to build lots of hammering 2 of the shelf boards don't seem to fit correctly but it looks amazing

I purchased this elevated planter box as a gift for a relative. He was surprised and loves it! He needed some kind of planting bed to keep the wildlife out of his vegetables. He is planning on growing potatoes and tomato plants next season but will put in other plants this year. He also likes that he doesn’t have to bend over so much or get on his knees.
