Support your plants with the Vigoro Garden Stake. The 4-ft. garden stake is perfect for supporting trees, vegetables, fruit and blooming flowers. It helps plants grow straighter and taller. A supported plant is a healthier plant. By lifting branches and leaves off the ground, you can help protect the plant from harmful diseases. The plastic coated steel garden stake has a green UV-resistant coating that resists rust and blends in naturally with foliage. The sure-grip texture on the stake helps keep the plant from slipping down the stake. Sold as single units - combine multiples to create extra support. This garden stake's durable design can be used season-after-season.

This item tested within the limits for lead and thus was required to have the Prop 65 warning added to the product. Proposition 65 requires warning labels on products that may contain any of 800-plus chemicals or ingredients that the California Office of Environmental Health Hazard Assessment (OEHHA) lists as a carcinogen or a reproductive toxicant. Proposition 65 is a “right to know” law. It does not prohibit the use of any chemicals in products. In fact, many of the chemicals listed under Proposition 65 are common everyday additives in manufacturing processes ( e.g., Ethylene Glycol-which is used in compressor shrouds as a flame retardant, lead-which is used to machine brass parts, etc.) and can be found in common consumer products such as jewelry, lamps, ceramic tableware, lead crystal glasses, electric cords, automobiles, and beauty products. California revised the labeling requirements required for products manufactured after August 30 2018. Midwest Air Technologies complies with these rules. As a result, you may see different warnings on our products, based on the manufacturing date. For example, on a product manufactured before August 30, 2018, you may see this warning “This product contains chemicals known in the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm” Whereas on the same product, manufactured after August 30, 2018, you might see this warning “WARNING: CONTAINS LEAD. May be harmful if eaten or chewed. May generate dust containing lead. Wash hands after use. Keep out of reach of children.” WARNING: This product can expose you to chemicals including lead, which is known to the State of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. For more information go to www.P65Warnings.ca.gov. Likely, the product has not changed in its composition, and the new warning was updated to comply with the new California rules. MAT Industries sells products to all 50 states, and has taken the position to place these warnings within our owner’s manual, or on the actual product or packaging, whether or not it ends up in California.
These weigh approximately 0.18 pounds. They are 4ft long, which makes them more difficult to ship.
I wouldn't try it. I accidentally pushed too hard on one of them when putting it into my 5 gallon bucket, and it bowed slightly. Since I stopped pushing, it returned back to its straight shape. It definitely felt like it would snap if I purposefully tried to bend it. I can't speak regarding cutting them. One end has a slight point to help push it into the ground, so they obviously aren't meant to be cut. Plus they come in so many different lengths to fit your needs.
No, it is not recommended to be cut and bent.
Yes. But not easily for both questions.
Can be cut, not bent.
No, they cannot be bent, and I would not recommend cutting them - they are available in other sizes.
These are sold as single units. You may purchase the quantity that you need.
