The microwave had manufacturing defects. Didn’t notice till after the install and a pain to remove

Microwave works good but the handle broke after I had it for only 6 months.

We have not installed it, above the stove, as yet. But we are using it as a counter microwave.works great!!!!

If you decided to go with this more affordable model, then check the manual before making the purchase. Advertised cutout heigh differs by half an inch versus the actual. To me this made the unit dysfunctional

Nice looking microwave with a great price, just need to replace ours as the display is going out. We like the simple layout and the green LED display, we need nothing fancy. We have used a couple of times on the counter and it works perfect. I noticed that the Vissani over range microwave looks and is built like a Magic Chef and looks like it will install easily with no modifications needed, nice. Now I just need to install it.

Clearing off the countertop with this microwave is a big improvement to our useable countertop workspace. This unit has a sleek design and good performance, 1000-Watt power heats up and cooks food fast. Six sensor cooking preset key highlights the most used selections. Convenient, easy to operate 300CFM ventalation provides strong power of airflow. The stainless steel finish compliments our kitchen style. Interior LED lighting brightens the interior during cooking. Family size for daily cooking, with auto, defrost and time defrost for fast and even cooking. Very satisfied.

This microwave is a over stove mounted or in my case I mounted it in my garage to double as a microwave and a vent. This microwave is big and powerful. I really like the cord being on the top instead of the back so you can mout it against the wall. It has a glass turntable like most microwaves.

I got the white Vissani 1.7 cu ft 1000 watt OTR microwave for the downstairs kitchenette I am building. We wanted to avoid running up and down stairs to do light cooking for inside and outside recreation. While the kitchenette project has a long way to go I am happy to say the Vissani heats as well as our main kitchen microwave yet is surprisingly quiet. It has a wide range of settings and preprogrammed cooking functions along with a two-speed vent hood with range light and dual grease filters. There are 9 1/4 inches from the glass rotating plate to the top of the oven and enough room to just squeeze a 13 1/2 inch plate in and still rotate. The oven is 20 inches side to side if you don't use rotation. Installation is straight forward and they supply template sheets to fasten to the overhead cabinets and wall to make accurate location of mounting fittings easy. The instructions are good but cover multiple models so you do have to figure out which instructions don't apply to your specific oven. The wood screws supplied to anchor the wall bracket to studs are large but have a Philips head that strips out easily. Fortunately the screws also have a hex head so can be socket or plier driven. I did find I needed a 13/64 pilot hole rather than the 3/16 specified as the studs were very dry and hard to put the screws in.

Although this Vissani over the range microwave is not an expensive high end model, it has the features that we need. It is a good size at one point seven cubic feet. Holds a casserole or a dinner plate easily. The glass turntable spins the food for even cooking. At one thousand watts, it has six auto cook choices and auto defrost. The ten power levels boil, defrost and cook perfectly. The interior light Is LED, no bulbs to change. Underneath is a task light to see the food cooking on the stove. The exhaust fan has three hundred cfm with two speeds. Exhausting the cooking smells can be recirculated through replaceable filters. It can also be exhausted to the outside. This is the black color and also comes in white and stainless.

Well packed. Installation is well documented. Read the installation instructions before removing the microwave from the box, as it explains how to unscrew the mounting rail and unpack the microwave. Installation is pretty standard, attach a support rail to the wall, with supplied hardware, fasten microwave to upper cupboard with bolts. Plug it in. It comes configured to vent back into the kitchen so if one needs rear or top venting the blower can be repositioned to suit the installation needs. The control panel is easy to use, but some of the automatic programs refer to different types of food by numbers, and the screen says “see menu label” but I don't see any label anywhere to use as a key, even inside the door. The user manual does list most of the food menus, so these could be placed on some paper inside a nearby cupboard door perhaps. I think they left a sticker off our machine. Clock and display is green. Handle is robust. The first real thing we cooked was a large bowl of apples, weighing 5 pounds 11 ounces. Heavy, but not crazy, and the turntable struggled to turn. It would rotate for about a minute then stop turning. We took the lid off making it a bit lighter and it continued to rotate, so it appears to have about a 5 lb limit for the turntable to work. The fan has two speeds. The fan is completely independent of cooking, it only goes on if you switch it on, which is good. (Our old microwave always puts the fan on when cooking and that sends warm air outside in the winter, not what we want.) Cooking time can be added in 30s increments and can be started with a single button press. Multistage cooking can be selected with different power settings for different periods. Cooking modes are: Defrost (by weight or time), Veggies( 2 levels with no information on what they are for), Potato, Popcorn (3 quantities), Snacks (Hit dogs, kids meals, soups), Auto cook (bacon, Dinner plate, Rice, Frozen breakfast, Frozen Pizza), Mel/Soften (Butter, chocolate, Ice cream, Cream cheese) The glass turntable is 131/2” in diameter. There is an optional child lock. The volume of the beeping can be set to low, normal, high, or off. The clock display can be turned off too. Made in China
