A: Hi! You can perform chopping techniques with the E310 in the container, however they are not as uniform in shape as you would get from a food processor. The machine will work to mix dough.

Q:What's the meaning of that "Do not continuously use your machine for more than 75 seconds with the 20 ounces cup"?

A: Hi! What this means is you do not want to run you machine for longer that 75 seconds when using the 20oz cups. The reason for that is because the Vitamix blades spin so fast, they create friction that generates heat, this is how you can make soup in the large containers. The large containers are vented to let the steam escape, that is not possible on the 20oz cup. Letting steam build up in the 20oz container could cause damage to your product.

A: Hi Hank. At this time, the Vitamix is only able to be used plugged into an appropriate power outlet and any modifications or use of an adaptor would void the warranty.

A: Hi, Hank. Yes! I spliced the power cord to wire it directly into my USB-C port. It works amazingly in the car, but only if you are traveling at 60 mph or more.

This old rancher...

My doc has been hounding this old rancher for years to eat healthier. So I finally broke down and purchased a blender. I liked the reviews on this one as being simple, powerful, and could do the job. Wow...am I ever impressed! I had my first smoothie tonight with pears, apples, celery, some fancy almond milk, and a dash of cinnamon. It was absolutely fantastic. I followed the clear instructions that came with the blender - and it performed exactly as advertised. I'm a new Vitamix fan - and a healthier rancher to boot!
