Yes, it can be mounted vertically.
I'm trying to remove this light. Is it mounted from screws INSIDE the lightbulb sockets?
1. Unscrew all bulbs. 2. The bulb base rings unscrew and the faceplate comes off revealing the mounting screws.
You have to pull off the rings around each socket, they just slide off. Then the cover comes off then you can access the screws that hold it to the wall
