A: Maybe something less tacky? Lithium grease will attract dirt and debris gumming up the works. Try a spray solvent first and then a dry silicone instead. Also check the rollers under the door for clearance. They adjust up and down with via a jack screw. Good luck.
A: Wouldn’t use it for that - leaves greasy residue - use silicone or wd-40 instead
A: No. It remains oily. It’s also white in case you didn’t know like I did. It looks horrible if you spray it in plain view.

It works in temperatures up to 220C/430F and supports high pressures usages but does not have the same consistency and intended utility as some thicker grease products.
