Just getting started with this type of tool. This one seems adequate to my task. The flex shaft was a bit ticklish to install; but by carefully re-reading the instructions I was able to correctly install it.
The flex-shaft feature was why I bought this model. I need to work on a small object that's fixed inside a container. That is working smoothly in tests, so far. In this config seems best to hang it by it's included bail. see pic

A must have kit at a ridiculous value. I recently purchased this tool here at The Home Depot as I needed a flexible shaft in cutting some trim work out. I fabricated some beams for a kitchen remodel and this rotary tool made the job a simple solution. The included flex shaft worked liked holding a large marker and cut through the crown molding with precision. I used a wood cutting bit and marked the lines then added painters tape to the edge for a smoother result. As seen in my picture, this tool and brand worked well. I highly recommend this kit and feel that it is money well spent. The Home Depot offers a huge selection of bits and accessories in their tool department for various projects.
