Can this ladder be broke down or separated into 2 pieces, for duel use. Seems it would increase flex-ability in the product, be it 16,20 or 24 foot ladder.
Asked by: IBMVIN
The fly section has printed (into the aluminum) that "this ladder section is not designed for separate use". I did not see a similar warning on the base section. There is also an instruction sticker that explains how to separate the sections, and that also says that "the fly section should not be used as a separate ladder". I'm assuming that you can use the base section as a separate ladder, because it has the safety foot. but without a safety foot, the fly would slip on the floor, and that's very dangerous. I don't think that the manufacturer would recommend using either as separate ladder.

Can I use this ladder to install a light at 24 ft high on the side of my house?

Asked by: butch2T
The formula for a wall or extension ladder. 1/5 the height of the wall plus 2-3 feet. This gives you the proper climbing angle. The 2-3 feet is to give you the ability to set the ladder in a concrete crack or whatever to keep the bottom from sliding out.
