Vibrated to death, then broke
The blade attachment cut great, but on my first use the shaft vibrated enough to give me blisters. A month later I tried again, and this time the shaft broke. See pictures. When it worked, it worked great. But it gave me blisters and then it broke.

I think that this product is a scam because it was not working properly
I had to open it and put some 10W40 to make work properly and stop shaking and vibrating but when I was about to finish trimming it restarted vibrating again very hard
I couldn’t return it to the Home Depot store because it doesn’t come with a receipt I don’t know what to do with it and I think I was scammed
I spent with my wife more than $1500 in shopping from Home Depot and I’ll never never buy something on line from it again

This appears to be a dependable weed eater after a couple weeks use. It can be set up as an edger as well. The engine is strong, starts easily and runs like a champ for 20-30 minutes...a little hot, but no problems. I like the bonus harness that was included. After a couple uses I figured out that it's break away if too much weight pulls on it, for safety. Love the strength of the motor, hated the trimmer head. It wouldn't feed/extend properly i had to keep stopping to rewind and reload the string, so I replaced the trimmer head with a universal one and now I love it completely. I would recommend this to homeowners and small businesses.

Got this trimmer as a replacement for my curved one. It came with a few pieces to assemble, which did not take too long. However, my complaints is that the directions were difficult to decipher and I could not find the manufacturer's website or even a YouTube on putting it together. So I had to fumble my way through it. After completing the assembling, there will be tools that needs to be saved to attached the brush cutter and back to trimmer again. So keep them in a place you will remember.
The machine seems heavier than my previous one, but the shoulder strap definitely distributes the weight. It didn't come with a sample 50:1 fuel mix, so make sure there's some handy. However, Itt is definitely more powerful than my last one and did quick work of some of those pesky weeds and tall grass that my mower could not reach.

My husband really likes this grass trimmer with brush cutter blade and bonus harness set. He is able to cut weeds down trim the grass and even lined the edge of our curb with this trimmer. It isn’t too heavy and it holds a nice amount of gas to complete our entire yard. The installation of everything took the both of us less than 10 minutes. Follow the instructions very closely and it will start up right away. I even like the color blue on this trimmer. It’s also easy to separate in half to store it easily.

This is a professional quality weed eater / brush cutter. It comes with everything you'll need to get started except the gas. It has a nice large gas tank so that you can use it for all your yard work chores. It has a nice support handle and a lock out safety trigger. Cranking instructions are easy to follow and the unit cranks quickly. This unit comes with a string trimmer head that holds .090 line and a three blade brush cutting blade that can handle most large weeds and smaller brush. Instructions to change the heads are easy to follow. Assembly instructions are easy to follow and most anyone can accomplish assembly in less than 30 minutes. Only one slight problem that I have with the unit. Most people will not have this problem. The support strap is a little on the short side for someone of my height. (6' 5") Even with the strap fully extended it's still about 3 inches short. Of course this won't bother 90% of the people that use this! All in all a great unit. I would suggest that you purchase the premix gas that Home Depot sells for this unit also. It saves time and you don't have a lot of gas going bad in larger cans.

I received 26 cc 2-Cycle 2-in-1 Gas Full Crank Straight Shaft Grass Trimmer with Brush Cutter Blade and Bonus Harness a few days ago, finally got a chance to try it out. I'm very please with this trimmer. Very easy to assemble ( all tho I think the direction could have been better ), I had no trouble. When I started trimming I was going threw some pretty heavy weeds. I have not trimmed from 3 weeks. I had no trouble cutting down the heavy grass around my bird feeder. I was very impressed with the performance. A very well balance trimmer

Do not trim in short, I was not thinking.

I would recommend this product to anyone who has a yard that needs trimming or just to manicure ones yard or property using this product. It will cut most brush with the included brush cutting attachment but be warned that not for medium to thick brush it is for light brush only you will need to purchase a saw blade type attachment for the thicker brush and I recommend the saw blade for all brush not using the included attachment.

If you're looking for an economical, light weight trimmer/brush cutter the Badger 26 CC unit should be on your list. I found it to be very well balanced. While it comes with a harness I found it was not necessary to use due to how well it is balanced and its lightweight. Quiet and efficient.. The brush cutter attachment works great on small brush. I found 2 pulls with the choke on, then one more pull with the choke off usually does the trick. If you do proper storage, use good oil and fuel it should perform very well for many years.
