Absolute Garbage
This camera doesn't snap a photo as soon as it detects someone--it waits until they're about ten feet in the door, by which time they've already seen the camera and hidden their face. When you go to view a video, the app says not unless you sign up for a paid service, then it's not the video you want, it's some future video. I added a 128gb microSD to the base, and the camera stopped working, so I moved it to the camera, and on the very first 10 sec. video, the card was full/not saved to album.

    Don't waste your time
    Generally I'm a big fan of Wyze but these cams fail to connect at least 1/2 the time you try to view them. I also have Arlo and Nest cams and I am able to view them without difficulty. Too bad because the image quality is pretty good for a1080p when they do decide to connect so you can view them. That being said, Wyze needs to add a 4k camera with a minimum of 30 fps even in night mode. Otherwise the pics are kind of blurry with motion.

The max range between the camera and Base Station varies, but in an open, clear field, they can be up to 300 feet apart.       Poor battery and loses connection
      I have had this less than 6 months and the battery lasts maybe 1 month, and the base station loses connection often. I have to delete the devices and re-setup the base station and camera each time. Not worth the money!

        Not a fan of this camera. Does not pick up...
        Not a fan of this camera. Does not pick up motion even at the highest sensitivity setting. What’s the point if it doesn’t record when it needs to. I returned the camera.

Using a microSD card with your camera gives you the ability to record continuous footage and recorded events directly to your local microSD card. We also have Cam Plus, which is an upgrade for Wyze Cam devices that adds Person Detection to your Complete Motion Capture videos. With this service, you'll be able to record full-length videos, receive real-time alerts when people are detected, and filter all of your video clips with people in them.
