Yes you can remove screws
The legs are very sturdy. However the mounting screws will loosen if there is much "wiggle" between the top and the legs
Should be OK.That will resort in a little over 16.5 lbs per leg. However make sure you install the legs straight. You could also fasten the cabinet to the wall at the corner to make sure it doesn't tip forward.
Octagon
2 1/4 at the top, narrower at the bottom
I did.....under coated and painted with exterior paint
Hi As, unfortunately for this 21 in. Traditional Pine Leg, if ordered on Homedepot.com, will be shipped as it appears on Homedepot.com. We are not able to make changes to the product. We appreciate your business and look forward to serving you in the future. Thank you for shopping Home Depot!
The bolt (screw) extends 3/8 inch from the top of the leg. I bought triangular metal mounting brackets then just screwed the leg into them. Easy peasy.
It is available in 28 in. and 14 in. Both these sizes are available in stores.
