The Wagner FLEXiO 2500 paint sprayer applies coatings 8X faster than a brush, offering a consistent, smooth finish on a wide range of exterior and interior painting projects such as fences, decks, sheds, interior walls, ceilings and more. The X-Boost turbine delivers the power to spray unthinned paints and stains right from the can, including paints and primers, solid stains, sealers and more. The sprayer features a compact, lightweight design that greatly reduces user fatigue and makes it easier to handle when spraying. It also features multiple adjustable settings to suit your project needs. The two speed turbine allows you to turn to high for thick materials and low for thin materials. You can also adjust the spray width, the material flow control and the spray pattern. The sprayer comes with cup liners and features few parts that separate and rinse clean for easy clean-up.

Yes, any water based or oil-based paint, stain, or finish, is fine in the Flexio HVLP sprayer. We suggest thinning by 5-10% and mixing with a paddle in a drill, for better atomization. The iSpray nozzle that comes with the Flexio 2500 will give you a roller like finish. If you want a smoother finish, you need the Detail Finish nozzle for finer atomization. It's part #529013 and it comes with the 3500 model, or it can be added to the 2500.
Yes, as long as it's thin enough to spray and it can be cleaned up using mineral spirits, it should be fine. If it's a quick drying material, don't let it sit in the gun during your breaks. Good luck with your projects.
Thank you for reaching out to us, we’re happy to help. You can use either the Flexio 2500 or the Flexio 3500 to spray both water-based and oil-based paints. May I ask which type of coating you are planning to use on the aluminum shutters? This will help us provide the best recommendation. For further assistance, please feel free to contact our Product Support Team at 1-800-328-8251, and we’ll be glad to help.
Thank you for contacting us.The Flexio 2500 can be used with both enamel and latex interior paints, although thinning may be required depending on the material. The Flexio 2500 comes with a larger nozzle assembly that provides a roller-like finish and is designed for walls, fences, sheds, and other large surfaces. If you plan to use the sprayer for finer finishing applications, a detail finish nozzle assembly is available for purchase. The part number for this nozzle is 529103. Please give our product support team a call at 1-800-328-8251 if you need further assistance.
Cycles per gallon is not a measurement we use. We can't locate it on the HD website. Please contact us at customerservice@wagner-group.com to get more information and to let us know where you see that.
Yes you can paint overhead, but only at a 45 degree angle. If you add the 24" HVLP extension, you can then tilt up at 60 degrees. See the extension here - https://www.homedepot.com/p/Wagner-HVLP-Extension-2449592/325231990
The Flexio 2500 comes with air power control and paint flow rate control. Both can affect how far the paint will go on your project. If your paint says it will cover 400ft per gallon, that's about what the sprayer will do when adjusted correctly. It's safe to figure about 50-100sq ft per paint container full with the 2500 iSpray front end nozzle.
Sure it can. Any water based or oil-based paint, stain, or finish, is fine in all of our HVLP sprayers.
