A:  Since all of our sanders are 9.25" (Nine and One Quarter Inch) in length clearly sandpaper that is is 9.0" (Nine Inches) long would to short. We're not sure where the confusion regarding sandpaper sizing is generated from but Wallboard does not recommend sandpaper sizes for our sanders. If we were to recommend sandpaper for our sanders it would be "die cut" sandpaper specifically die cut for our drywall sanders and our competitors drywall sanders. Die cut sandpaper for drywall sanders are available from many retailers and are manufactured in several grits.

A:  Yes that will do floors however you would be working on your knees. Try item no. 437263 which is the Tuff Lok Pole Sander, just type those numbers into the search box at Home Depot website.

A:  Yes, you can sand floors with this if you use it properly.

A:  I used it for a porch floor under the handrail because the electric sander is to tall to fit under the handrail. It worked fine.

A:  Yes. My son did. Just do a section at a time.

A:  No, it's more for drywall. If you have a bid area, you'll want an electric sander which you can rent.

A:  The standard 11 1/4" screens and precut sandpaper will work but it's a tight fit you barely catch about an 1/8th of an inch and they can pop off. I used both screen and sand paper and only had one piece slip out from under the lock.

A:  for dry wall sanding all grits (fine, medium, large) all fit this unit. if using for wood or metal all sheet sand paper grits work with this unit just fold sheet in thirds and cut/tear and you get three pieces from one sheet

A:  Your options on grit of sandpaper are only limited on what type of sanding your doing, as long as it is a sheet you can fold it and use it. 50 grit to super fine.
