Should have read the reviews - 6"
Other reviews are absolutely spot-on with the poor quality of the metal. Who cares how ergonomic the handles are if only used once because the blades rust ??? My old wooden handled 4" is better quality. Buy the lower priced carbon steel blades because those actually rust less !!! See picture - old 4", crappy 4"

nice handle
This joint knife is easy to use and has a nice ergonomic handle. I have used this for almost 4 years and have not had any issues with it. This product is built well and has met my expectations. I do not have anything to dislike about it.

Previously Stainless product now mild steel, rusted after first use.
I am a remodeling contractor and have an extensive collection of tape knives, most of which are stainless. I have purchased nearly identical, similarly priced Wal-Board knives from Home Depot in the past but they were stainless steel. I needed a few more small knives, so I grabbed these. Big mistake. Rather than provide a collection of inexpensive basic tape knives, or similarly priced stainless steel knives, Home Depot has switched to these more expensive PLAIN STEEL tape knives in the store instead. They are finished like stainless and I incorrectly assumed, considering the price, the brushed finish and my previous Wal-Board purchases, that they were stainless. Nope. Plain steel, fake finish and really poor quality at that. I have a handful of blue-steel tape knives that I've owned for over a decade and they show no signs of rust. These knives, left to air dry after thoroughly washing and shaking off, RUSTED AFTER THE FIRST USE! Do not waste your money on these fancy looking, expensive but poorly performing tape knives. Find a Warner or Wal-Board product that is truly stainless steel. Absolutely not recommended.

Whether doing a small job or a big one, having the right tools for the job makes the difference. This tool met my needs and was easy to clean up. I don’t do a lot of dry walling, but happy to have this tool in my kit for when I do.

I used this taping knife on one small job. After the first day, it showed signs of rust. The rust got worse with each subsequent day of use. I would not buy it again.

Contrary to what others write. I think this is a great knife and the price makes it that much better. Ive been using this knife for well over a month now. Ive used it with joint compound and Ive even used it with mortar at times. This knife has held up very well. The blade is not showing any rust or oxidation. It could be because I am pretty meticulous about drying my tools after i clean them. What I like most about this knife is it has the perfect amount of flexibility in the blade. Flexible enough to make feathering out joint compound a breeze, but not so flexible that you leave to much mud behind. The rubberized handle is comfortable in the hand and it too has held up well.

Wal-Board compound knife rusted literally overnight
Forgot to dry this Wal-Board sheetrock compound knife just once after cleaning and the blade became covered with rust spots literally overnight. I tried using it once more despite the rust and the rust spots stained the wall when I applied the wet compound. The brand name is wearing off the handle too after just a half dozen uses. I own several 10 - 20 year old tools and take good care of them. Lesson learned on this particular brand / product.
