The Wallboard comfort fixed blade knife is designed to make cutting drywall easier and reduce user fatigue. Thermal plastic rubber coated body for comfort, elongated handle for better hand control. Heavy duty zinc body for long life. Handle will store up to 5 blades.

Overall length is 1-1/2 in. longer than standard utility knives
Downward tilting knife nose requires less effort to make cuts, reduces arm strain and keeps knuckles away from surfaces

37 years into the drywall industry. My first choice...

37 years into the drywall industry. My first choice was the Stanley 199, but they are not USA made now and use cheaper pot metal. They do not hold up. I got this Wal-Pro knife and it's much more superior to the 199 in regards to grip to cut sheet goods like gypsum/sheetrock. Kudo's for a better design! I like the hinge in the back and no screw that drops or gets buggered up for changing the blade. This is the last knife I will need until I retire!!
