A: We actually do not advertise load ratings because too much depends on the quality of installation, how weight is distributed both on the panels and on the hooks and shelves, as well as the age and quality of the substrate the panels are installed in to. Due to all of the variables involved in any given installation, we have found it potentially misleading to suggest proper “load ratings” that are generally formulated in laboratories under ideal conditions, specifications, and protocols that do not accurately reflect the actual real world applications that these products are used in. That all being said, if you are installing into traditional drywall and using the included drywall anchors, our “recommendation” would be no more than 100 LBS per panel (200 LBS per panel into studs or similar), no more than 10-20 LBS per shelf assembly, no more than 2 LBS per plastic bin, no more than 10-15 LBS per hook that engages in 2 slots, and no more than 5-10 LBS per hook that engages in a single slot. All recommendations assume properly installed panels, weight relatively evenly distributed across the panel face, as well as weight situated at the base of each hook or shelf as opposed to the tip.
A: Thanks for the question! These are powder coated panels with a very durable baked on finish that is highly resistant to any sort of rust or corrosion and should work well in environments where water is present, such as above a sink. As long as the black finish of the pegboards says intact (ie. no cracks, flakes, etc from blunt damage) you should have no issues at all in this application.
A: Hi Gretchen, we would recommend consulting with a local expert on how best to attach to your specific adobe walls. Adobe walls can vary with regard to age, brittleness, structural integrity, etc so it is difficult to recommend any specifics here without actually evaluating your specific walls.
A: Hi Greg, while we do not have a perfect solution to offer here, we can say that there are a few options out there in specific colors that work 'okay'. If you search "Wall Control Mounting Screw Hole Plug Guide" you should find a resource on a good place to get started. Hope this helps!
