It looks like the hinges screw right into the post with no internal support. Does this need a post stiffener inside or will the vinyl alone hold the weight of the gate?
Good morning, You do not need an internal support outside of the pipe anchor for this product. The hinges provide enough support to hold the gate, and it's balanced by the latch and catch on the opposite post. Thank you, Marcus

I have a small patio in the front of my house. Can this be installed on the concrete? I can put the front section in the grass, but not the side.
We do have surface mounts available for the Newport Fence and Gate. The surface mounts need to be purchased in addition to any finishing posts needed. You will use the mounts instead of the anchors that come with the posts. The mounts come 2 per box, and the SKU for the mounts is ZP19011.
