Someone said they removed the flow restrictor, but we cannot find the restrictor. Are you referring to the filter?

These regulations have been decreasing over time and apply to all brands. If you compare this product to a previous shower head that had little to no restrictions on the flow rate, you will notice a difference. Are the fittings and the pivot pieces made of plastic?
Hi Fuzz - The fittings and pivot parts are made from sturdy chrome plated plastic. Although plastic, they are designed to last a lifetime of use. That is why we have a limited lifetime warranty on our shower heads. The hose and some internal components are made of stainless steel.

Does the shower head have an off-on switch?
Hello Mindy - Plumbing regulations prohibit allowing a function to restrict water flow completely. Completely shutting off the water can allow scalding water to briefly burst out of the product when the flow rate is returned to full flow mode. This is due to the hot water rising to the top of the shower wall pipe. Due to these regulations, there will always remain a dribble always flowing.
