It works fine..... for a while.
This pump worked pretty well for what it's supposed to do. It was able to pump water, through a 5/8" inch hose, to a height of about 7 feet for a fountain. The pump worked fine for about 1.5 years...about 4 hours per day. Then it started to make a noise which got worse over a short time. You could hear the noise from 100 feet away. I removed the bottom section to check for debris. None found. I cleaned the impellor and re-assembled the housing. The loud noise persisted. I think that the bearings or whatever are going out. 'Not worth getting it fixed....
